The present invention relates to a method and a device for fabricating electric wiring harnesses. A device comprises a first conveyor (1) which may displace by using transfer grips (4) the wire sections (5), and also comprises a second conveyor (2) which may displace the holding grips (6); the device is also comprised of marrying grips (7) which may extract wire extremities from the transfer and holding grips and may move on a guide (9). It also comprises grouping grips which may move on the guide (9) independently of the movement of the marrying grips. The device is provided with means for displacement of component (54) along a curved path with respect to the extremities of the wires held by the marrying grips. The technical field is the fabriction of electric wiring harnesses.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to pliers for manipulating wires and a method and device for fabricating electric wiring harness by using said pliers. According to the invention, the pliers are comprised of at least one sweeping arm (10) and an internal hinged arm (11) which are capable of gathering the wire extremities inserted in the pockets of a component, and the pliers are comprised of two articulated external arms which may gather the wires in a remote region of the component, said pliers beind displaceable on a guide (9). The technical field of the invention is the fabrication of electric wiring harness.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and device for inserting wire extremities in electric components, as well as a device for fabricating electric wiring harnesses. According to the invention, a device for inserting extremities (70) of wire sections (5) into pockets (54a) of components (54) comprises means for displacement of components along a curved path with respect to wire extremities which are held by grips (7). The technical field of the invention is the fabrication of electric wiring harnesses.

The present invention relates to a device for making open loops on electric wire sections obtained from wire from a reel (6), characterised in that it comprises an assembly of coaxial, opening wire guide-tubes (146-151) aligned to receive the wire (5) supplied from the reel (6) and to guide it under a manipulating arm (12) comprising grips (131, 132), situated in the initial position of said arm (12) on the path of the wire (5) guided by said assembly of tubes. At least one fixed grip (131) integral with the arm (12) and one movable loop grip (132) situated downstream of said fixed grip (131) with respect to the wire moving direction whose function is to form a wire loop and present the extremities of said wire section to the grips of a conveyor of a wiring machine.
