Abstract: An adjustable zero-stop turret assembly for an optical firearm scope, the turret assembly defining an axis and including: a turret housing with a cavity to receive a head portion of a main turret screw and including a wall portion defining an opening; a rotatable zero-stop element carrier including a base portion, an upper portion and a first zero-stop element coupled to the base portion; an adjustable set screw adjacent the opening; a second zero-stop element receiving the screw, a first portion of the second zero-stop element positioned within the opening, and a second portion of the second zero-stop element projecting outside the opening and into the turret-housing cavity. The second zero-stop element travels axially along the screw from a first position to a second position. In the second position, portions of the first zero-stop element and the second zero-stop element reside in a common plane perpendicular to the axis.

Abstract: A cartridge with a steel component bullet has desirable penetration capabilities and controlled separation of components upon terminal impact. In embodiments of the invention, the cartridge comprises a steel component, a lead core, and a copper jacket. The lead jacket having a leading edge portion that extends to the cylindrical mid portion. The steel component bullet may have a forward pointed ogive portion, a cylindrical mid portion, and a tapered rearward portion. The rearwardly facing surface may be concave. The leading edge portion may have a taper oriented in a direction opposite the taper of the ogive portion of the steel component. Abstract: Muzzleloader systems including a pre-packaged propellant charge with a primer and receptacle. The muzzleloader system may include a propellant containment vessel separate from the primer and the projectile and that doesn't contact with the projectile until assembly. The muzzleloader may be rear loading, with a constriction portion forward of the breech chamber. The propellant containment vessel may include a body portion having a forward opening, with a propellant charge disposed therein and a cap portion that is crimp rolled within the mouth of the vessel to seal the forward opening. The closed end of the propellant containment vessel may define a primer receptacle configured to receive the primer. The receptacle may define a depth that is less than the primer height so that, when inserted into the receptacle, the primer extends rearwardly beyond the containment vessel. The muzzleloader system may be configured to fire only specifically configured propellant containment vessels.

In various embodiments the system includes a display device configured to project an image generated from a display, a processor, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. The computer readable data storage medium can include instructions executable by the processor to receive a first set of ballistics input data indicating a first type of ammunition, determine a BDC pattern including at least two holdover marks corresponding to at least two ranges for the first type of ammunition, and project the BDC pattern onto the reticle display field.

Abstract: Cooperating mechanisms provide a reliable and robust semiautomatic firearm particularly suitable for firing necked rimfire cartridges. A reciprocating bolt assembly has delayed blowback and a firing pin block. Features prevent out-of-battery firing, when the bolt assembly is not fully engaged to the firing chamber or barrel face, a movable member within a bolt body functions as a blocking member that blocks the firing pin and prevents the firing pin from striking a cartridge. In embodiments, the firing pin has two stop portions that the movable member can engage depending on the cycle status of the firearm. A reverse cam mechanism associated with the firing pin blocking provides a resistance to and delays blowback. The bolt may interface with the necked rimfire cartridge using a undercut engagement on the forward end of the bolt. The semiautomaticfirearm also may incorporate one or both of a dual trigger arrangement as part of a trigger and firing mechanism with redundant hammer block and safety features, and trigger pull adjustment.

Abstract: An optical device for viewing a scene or subject while, at the same time, digitally recording images corresponding to the scene or subject being viewed. The optical device includes a housing supporting an eyepiece, an objective optic, and a prism assembly. The prism assembly is located along an optical path between the objective optic and the eyepiece. The prism assembly comprises a first prism and a second prism. The prism assembly allows the user to digitally record images corresponding to a scene or subject being viewed by the user. Both still images and video images may be digitally recorded. The prism assembly inverts the light traveling along the optical path so that the orientation of the image being viewed is consistent with the actual orientation of the scene or subject. The prism assembly allows the optical device to be shorter and more compact for a given magnitude of magnification.
