Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of recovering rhenium (Re) and other metals from Re-bearing materials including, as an exemplary process, the steps: (i) adding Re-bearing materials into a leaching slurry; (ii) adjusting the pH of the slurry to obtain Re in soluble form in a metal salt solution and insoluble residues; (iii) filtering the metal salt solution to remove the insoluble residues; (iv) selectively precipitating Re from the metal salt solution; (v) filtering the Re precipitate from the metal salt solution to obtain a Re filtercake; (vi) formulating and drying the Re filtercake to obtain a Re sulfide product; (vii) combining the Re sulfide product with a Molybdenum (Mo) concentrate containing Re to obtain a Mo/Re concentrate; (viii) roasting the Mo/Re concentrate to obtain Mo oxide product and a flue gas containing Re; and (ix) treating the flue gas containing Re to obtain ammonium perrhennate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a clad separation device for waste electric wires, in which a copper wire disposed at the center thereof is subjected to the compression and chemical treatment on a step-by-step basis while passing through a device. The inventive clad separation device comprises: a preliminary treatment section for compressing waste electric wires cut into a predetermined length and scratches on a clad layer, and passing them through clad dissolving solution; a PVC clad separation section disposed at the rear side of the preliminary treatment section a PE clad separation section disposed at the rear side of the PVC clad separation section, and then passing the compressed waste electric wires through the clad dissolving solution with them being immersed into the clad dissolving solution, and a copper wire collection section for compressing and crushing copper wires transported after the PE clad layer has been separated while passing through the PE clad separation section, and collecting the crushed copper wires.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a composition for dissolving coverings of waste electric wires, which can dissolve coverings of waste electric wires either by spraying the composition onto broken electric wires generated when waste electric wires cut to a given length are broken through a series of process, or by immersing the broken wires in the composition, so as to rapidly and precisely separate the coverings from the waste electric wires, and at the same time, which will not oxidize the parts of surrounding facilities and will not deteriorate the working environment, because it is odorless and harmless to the human body. The composition for dissolving coverings of waste electric wires comprises, based on 100 wt% of the composition, 1-5 wt% of sodium oleate, 8-12 wt% of ethylene glycol monooleate, 3-7 wt% of C12-16 alcohol, 30-40 wt% of hexyl acetate, 30-40 wt% of 2-hexanal acetal, 5-8 wt% of N, N- dimethylf ormamide dimethyl acetal, and 5-8 wt% of 5-8 wt% of diisobutyl phthalate.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Cermet material obtained from unused inert anodes, used inert anodes and cermet used in the production of inert anodes is beneficiated into a nonferrous metal concentrate composition from which metal values contained in the composition may be readily recovered by using a conventional smelting process. The invention also relates to the use of the composition in a smelting process for the recovery of metal values from the cermet composition of the invention.
