摘要: One embodiment described herein takes the form of a user equipment (UE), such as a phone. The UE includes a transceiver and a processor. The processor is configured to associate with a secondary UE for collaborative transmission of a data payload of one of the UE or the secondary UE to a base station. The processor is configured to determine a link quality with the base station or the secondary UE, and determine a location of the UE or the secondary UE while associated with the secondary UE. The processor is configured to transmit to the base station or the secondary UE at least the determined link quality or the determined location, and determine to maintain, re-establish, or disable the association with the secondary UE based on at least one of a number of factors including: the determined link quality, the determined location, or an indication received from the base station.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to discontinuous reception (DRX) transmission. Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a solution for DRX configurations for point-to-point (PTP) and/or point-to-multipoint (PTM) transmissions. In this solution, a user equipment (UE) maintains separate DRX configurations for PTP transmissions and PTM transmissions. During active time for the PTP transmissions, the UE monitors physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a UE specific identifier. The UE monitors PDCCH with a PTM transmission specific identifier during active time for the PTM transmissions. In this way, it can match the MBS service quality mechanism. Moreover, it also saves power at the UE.

摘要: Methods and systems are disclosed to configure different paging occasions for enhanced UEs that support, and for legacy UEs that do not support, the enhanced feature of the paging early indication (PEI) in paging procedure for 5G/LTE networks. Different paging occasions for the enhanced and legacy UEs may be configured by providing separate paging occasion parameters for the enhanced and legacy UEs. The network may use the separate paging parameters to design the PEI to save signaling overhead. The network may reuse paging format for the paging PDCCH to serve as the PEI that is transmitted in advance of the paging occasions for the enhanced UEs, or may keep legacy paging PDCCH at its current locations to serve as the PEI for the enhanced UEs. A scheduling offset may be configured to separate in time the paging PDCCH serving as the PEI and the paging PDSCH containing the paging message.

Candidate cell configurations corresponding to different candidate cells for a layer 1 (L1) /layer 2 (L2) -centric inter-cell mobility and a network indication /condition can be communicated via a first L1 communication, a first L2 communication, or an L1 inter-cell dynamic scheduling downlink control information (DCI). The UE can thus trigger a cell change of the L1 /L2-centric inter-cell mobility to a target cell in response to a threshold being satisfied that is associated with the network indication or the network condition.

A wireless device may establish communication with a first base station that is comprised in a master cell group (MCG). The wireless device may receive signaling from the first base station configuring a second base station in a secondary cell group (SCG). The wireless device may establish communication with the second base station based on the signaling received from the first base station. At a first time, the wireless device may set the second base station in a deactivated state based on the signaling from the first base station configuring the second base station or establishing communication with the second base station. At a later time, the wireless device may set the second base station in an activated state and communicate with the first base station and the second base station.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for enhancement of MBMS transmission reliability. A UE may receive PDCP PDUs via a PTM link from a network. The UE may determine to provide feedback regarding receipt of the PDCP PDUs, e.g., based, at least in part, on an occurrence of a triggering event. The triggering event may be configured by the network and may include the UE receiving a request for feedback from the network, the UE determining that at least one PDCP PDU is missing, the UE determining that a number of missing PDCP PDUs exceeds a threshold, and/or the UE determining that a PDCP reordering window is changing based on expiration of a PDCP reordering timer. The UE may transmit feedback associated with receipt of the PDCP PDUs. The feedback may include an indication of missing PDCP PDUs, e.g., such as an indication of a sequence number associated with missing PDCP PDUs.

A wireless device may determine a propagation delay between the wireless device and each of a source cell and a target cell of a dual active protocol stack handover by the wireless device. The wireless device may provide an indication to the source cell of the propagation delay between the wireless device and the source cell, the propagation delay between the wireless device and the target cell, and a propagation delay difference handling capability of the wireless device. The cellular base station that provides the source cell may determine a time division multiplexing pattern for uplink communication for the wireless device during the dual active protocol stack handover based at least in part on the information provided by the wireless device.
