Abstract:
A method and system for generating models from images. In an aspect, multi-view semantic segmentation is provided to recognize and segment images at the pixel level into semantically meaningful areas, and which can provide labels with a specific object class. In further aspects, a partition scheme is provided that can separate objects into independent blocks using major line structures of a scene. In addition, an inverse patch-based orthographic composition and structure analysis on a block is provided that can regularize noisy and missing reconstructed 3D data to facilitate image-based modeling.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Kommunikation in einem Funkkommunikationssystem. Das Funkkommunikationssystem umfasst einen ersten und einen zweiten Funkzugangspunkt (AP-A, AP-B) und eine Mehrzahl von Funkstationen (MS1, MS2, MS3, MS4). Der erste Funkzugangspunkt (AP-A) strahlt Signale (PLS) mit steigender Sendeleistung aus. Aufgrund einer Nachricht (PAS1) von mindestens einer sich innerhalb des Funkabdeckungsbereiches (FZB) des zweiten Funkzugangspunktes (AP-B) befindenden Funkstation (MS3) beendet der erste Funkzugangspunkt (AP-A) die Steigerung der Sendeleistung. Hierbei betrifft die Nachricht (PAS1) der mindestens einen sich innerhalb des Funkabdecku;gsbereiches (FZB) des zweiten Funkzugangspunktes (AP-B) befindenden Funkstation (MS3) mindestens ein Signal (PLR) des ersten Funkzugangspunktes (AP-A) und/oder mindestens ein Signal (RR) einer sich innerhalb des Funkabdeckungsbereiches (FZA1, FZA2) des ersten Funkzugangspunktes (AP-A) befindenden Funkstation (MSl, MS2). Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung einen Funkzugangspunkt, eine netzseitige Einrichtung und eine Funkstation zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
Abstract:
An on-line fault detection and avoidance method is provided for industrial control systems that include multiple interacting process controllers. The method addresses the problem that not all faults can be determined and removed at the time of system design and testing. When a fault translates into a time-out condition in one or more controllers, symptoms are identified, persistence is measured, other involved controllers are identified, the fault condition is identified and control laws are reconfigured to avoid the fault condition in the future

A method to display an illustration to conduct an expedited electronic transaction is provided. Consumer identification information identifying a consumer is received. The consumer identification information is stored in association with a web browser of a consumer's device. A customized illustration is displayed based on the received consumer identification information on the consumer's device. A request is received for the expedited electronic transaction by swiping the customized illustration across a portion of the display of the consumer's device. Transaction data sufficient to complete the electronic transaction is sent to the merchant based on the swipe of the customized illustration across display of the consumer's device.
