Abstract:
A personal skin polishing or microdermabrasion device having a convenient form factor with a applicator attached to a contoured housing with a handle portion. The housing contains a battery, a cordless motor and a gear box to provide an appropriate rotational velocity to the output shaft that is coupled to the applicator. The applicator may be a foam material selected to cushion the skin from excessive abrasion to the particles in a personal care composition to be used with device, and to have a porosity that will enable the foam to interact with the particles and enhance the skin polishing effect.
Abstract:
A container (16, 18) for liquid compositions including a reservoir including a liquid composition a surface topography (20) and an in-mold label positioned proximate to the surface topography to improve the resilience of the container. The surface topography is selected from the group consisting of ridges, valleys, grooves, dimples, depressions, bumps, convexity, concavity, ribs, protrusions, curves, raised surfaces or other surface topography. The in-mold label (6) has a thickness of at least 114.3 microns; wherein the in-mold label (6) is made from a material selected selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, copolymers of polyethyene, polypropylene, copolymers of polypropylene, nylon, polyester, copolymers of polyester, polylactic acid, cellophane, polyvinyl chloride, ionomers, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers, metallocene polyethylene, metallocene polypropylene, and mixtures thereof .

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a sustainable article substantially free of virgin petroleum-based compounds that includes a container, a cap, and a label, each made from renewable and/or recycled materials. The article has a shelf life of at least two years, and is itself entirely recyclable. The container can include polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or polypropylene. The cap can include polypropylene or polyethylene. The label can include polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, or paper.
Abstract:
A personal care kit comprises a first series of unit-dose packages containing a first skin care composition and a second series of unit-doses packages containing a second skin care composition, wherein the first skin care composition and the second skin care composition exhibit a readily perceptible difference. The readily perceptible difference may be a visible difference, a tactile difference, or an olfactory difference. The first and/or second skin care composition may comprise a skin care active. A method for using the personal care kit is also disclosed.
