    Abstract: An electrolysis functional water producing device comprising an electrolytic chamber (55) into which raw water to be electrolyzed is introduced, a diaphragm (60) consisting of a cation exchange membrane partitioning between the inside and the outside of the electrolytic chamber, and an electrolytic bath having a pair of electrodes respectively provided inside and outside the electrolytic chamber across the diaphragm with the electrode (62) outside the electrolytic chamber contacting the diaphragm, wherein, with raw water to be electrolyzed introduced into the electrolytic chamber and at a straight polarity that uses the electrode (64) provided inside the electrolytic chamber as a cathode and the electrode provided outside the electrolytic chamber as an anode, cations such as calcium ions and magnesium ions adsorbed to the cation exchange membrane are desorbed while the raw water is electrolyzed to regenerate the membrane.
