    Abstract: A shut-off valve suitable for flowing the fluid with solid particle, especially with the granulae of crystal or polymer, is composed of a shut-off core, which rotates or moves along a line between an upstream passage and a downstream passage. The shut-off core is improved, wherein the length the core passes through becomes larger from a position the valve is completely closed to the other position the core opens initially the flow passage. So the annular seal surface, which seals with the valve seat on the upstream surface when the valve is closed, will not or less suffer from the erosion of the above said flow when the valve is shifted or throttled.

    Abstract: A valve seat can resist erosion of the material, such as solid particle, powder, crystals, granula and/or liquid dripping. An annular auxiliary valve seat is disposed in the upper flow passage of the valve. One end of the seat is fixed on the circumferencial surface of the upper flow passage, and the other end of the seat traverses the seat bore in the upper flow passage of the valve. A mechanism composed of obstacles is disposed on the circumpherential surface along the entire axial length of the seat bore, or along the length of a definite axial distance extending to the upper flow from an end surface being adjacent to one side of the closing member surface in the upper flow in the inner bore of the auxiliary valve seat (or along the entire axial length of the inner bore). The obstacles are disposed on the circumferential surface of one of the said bores and are rectangular or tooth-like grooves and so on, which are concave or convex radially on the circumferential surface and spaced from each other.
