Abstract: A composite metallic product comprises a carbon steel core and an outer layer of metal(s) other than carbon steel, wherein the composite metal outer layer is combined with the outer surface of the carbon steel core by high pressure casting. High pressure casting belongs to precision casting, which is accomplished by injecting molten metal into metal mold under high pressure, therefore a thin composite outer layer can be formed on the surface of the carbon steel core, and it can be combined with a complex or simple core to produce a metallic product with a complex or simple shape, such as fence, table, chair, etc. The surface of the compositeouter layer is delicate, nonporous, and beautiful, and the finished product can be obtained after simple post treatment.
