Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of adhering a first part to a second part, wherein the first part and the second part are used for outdoor applications and comprise a thermoplastic or a thermosetting organic polymer. The present disclosure is also directed to a composite assembly comprising: a) a first part and a second part used for outdoor applications and comprising a thermoplastic or a thermosetting organic polymer; and b) a multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive foam tape as described in the present disclosure, wherein the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer is adhered to the first part, and the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer is adhered to the second part.

Abstract: Pressure sensitive adhesives comprising a linear block copolymer having a rubbery block and at least one glassy block; a multi-arm block copolymer having at least three arms, each having both a rubbery block and a glassy block; a first high glass transition temperature tackifier compatible with the rubbery blocks; a second high glass transition temperature tackifier having compatible with the glassy blocks; and at least one of a low Tg tackifier, a plasticizer, and combinations thereof, are disclosed. Tapes that include such adhesive, methods of making such tapes, and bonded composites using such adhesives and tapes are also disclosed.

Abstract: Pressure sensitive adhesive compositions containing 92 to 99.9 parts of a block copolymer adhesive composition and 0.1 to less than 10 parts of an acrylic adhesive composition are described. Tapes including such adhesives, and methods of making such tapes are also described.
