Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to an improved mounting assembly. In general, the mounting device includes a cover plate, a frame (at least a portion of which is adjacent to the cover plate), and an accessory that is attachable to the cover plate. The frame includes generally horizontal top and bottom portions or members that cooperatively limit or prohibit lateral motion of the cover plate relative to the frame when the cover plate is attached to the frame and is attached to a wall or vertical surface. The presence of the generally horizontal bottom and top portions or members facilitate faster and easier application and removal of the mounting assembly to a wall or other vertical surface by permitting the mounting assembly to be removed from the backplate on the wall in a single step.

Abstract: Systems and kits for decorating walls include a plurality of décor assemblies and a plurality of complementary fastening structures. The décor assemblies include a décor element and a releasable fastening structure providing first fastening elements. The complementary fastening structure includes a base, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the base, and second fastening elements. The first fastening elements are releasably mateable with the second fastening elements to define a releasable fastening system. During use, a complementary fastening structure is releasably applied to a wall, and is connected to and supports one of the décor assemblies via the releasable fastening system. The releasable fastening system can comprise low profile hooks and loops, exhibiting relatively low holding power.

Abstract: Herein are disclosed methods and assemblies for mounting an article to a surface by a double-faced adhesive. At least one spacer is used that is deflectable upon the application of sufficient force. When in a first, undeflected condition, the spacer provides sufficient space between the mounting surface and the double-faced adhesive such that the double-faced adhesive does not contact the mounting surface, thus the position of the article can be adjusted. When in a second, deflected condition, the spacer allows the double-faced adhesive to contact the mounting surface such that a bond can be established between the double-faced adhesive and the mounting surface.

Abstract: A package (10) for dispensing sheet material from a stack (14) includes a novel biasing device (18) for urging the stack of sheet material toward an opening (20) in one side of the package. The biasing device is comprised of a flat sheet (30) of material sized and shaped to be located within the package beneath the stack of sheet material. An elastomeric element (40) having an unstressed length that is less than a diameter of the flat sheet of material is stressed and positioned between opposite edges of the flat sheet of material. As stress is relieved from the elastomeric element, the elastomeric element draws the opposite edges together and elevates a central portion of the sheet of material in the form of an arch to urge the stack toward the opening as the stack of sheet material is depleted.
