摘要： Compounds having formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or prodrugs thereof, wherein A is nitrogen or (II), wherein W is selected from the group consisting of (1) hydrogen and (2) optionally substituted alkyl; A is selected from the group consisting of (1) -S-, (2) -O-, and (3) -N(R )-, wherein R is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; and R and R together are a carbocyclic or a heterocyclic ring, are useful as antibacterial agents.
