A polymeric composition is disclosed for use in personal care products. The composition is, at room temperature, a solid solution of a long-chain alcohol having ten to fifty carbon atoms and a polyalkyl[meth]acrylate polymer having some alkyl side chains pendant the ester group having ten to thirty carbon atoms and other alkyl side chains pendant the ester group having one to eight carbon atoms. The polymer can be formed by a transesterification reaction of a polyalkyl[meth]acrylate and the long chain alcohol in the presence of a catalyst.

The scavenger compounds can reduce, if not eliminate, the emissions of aldehydes from polyurethane foams. The scavenger compounds comprise at least one member selected from the group consisting of: phenol or substituted phenol, a 1, 3-dicarbonyl compound, a polyamine bearing a 1, 3-propanediamino function, melamine, a 1, 2-diaminocycloalkane, an ammonium salt; a compound containing the bisulfite anion, titanium dioxide and aminosiloxane.

The disclosure relates toat least one partially reacted product of an isocyanate and an amine (e.g., a reaction product comprising at least one adducted compound). The reaction product comprises polyurea oligomers. The reaction product can be combined with at least one amine in order to formulate a curing agent for epoxy resins wherein the cured epoxy resin has enhanced fracture toughness. The at least partially reacted product does not increase the viscosity of the curing agent and is at least partially soluble in the amine component of the curing agent.

The resulting reaction product is a liquid mixture of methylenedianiline, monoethyl methylenedianiline, and diethyl methylenedianiline having a viscosity of less than about 1000 cps at 40℃.
