Abstract: A packaging (30) includes a charging element (430) to charge an electronic device (60) contained within the packaging; the charging may be performed by inductive charging; the packaging includes a base shell (310) containing a surface (314) for receiving the electronic device and an electrical port (460) coupled to the base shell and accessible from an outer side of the base shell, wherein the electrical port is connected to the charging element.
