    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system (1) for generating bass effect, wherein the system (1) comprises at least one bass effect generator (2) having a body (2.1), at least one attachment unit (2.2) provided on the surface of the body (2.1) for attaching the body (2.1) to an item/structure, at least one vibration unit (2.3) for vibrating the body (2.1) or the attachment unit (2.2), at least one power supply and at least one communication unit; a television (3) comprising at least one communication unit to communicate with the bass effect generator (2), at least one internal sound unit and a control unit; and a control unit adapted to continuously monitor the source sound signals from a sound source connected to the television (3), to transmit a vibrate signal to the bass effect generator (2) by means of the communication unit upon the sound desired to be generated with the sound source signals exceeding a selected sound threshold value in low frequencies generable by the internal sound unit, and to enable the vibration unit (2.3) to vibrate the body (2.1) or the attachment unit (2.2) upon the vibrate signal.
