摘要: The invention relates to the field of munition fuzes (10, 20) and is a device for monitoring the status of a munition fuze, said device comprising; a visible marker (14, 24) capable of being switched between an off state and an on state; an indicator strip (18, 28), capable of actuation, from a first state to a second state; a power source (25), capable of activation, wherein the power source (25) provides power to the munition initiation system, the visible marker (14, 24) and the indicator strip (18, 28); wherein said visible marker (14, 24) and indicator strip (18, 28) are positioned to be visible to an observer when the fuze (10, 20) has been fitted for use on said munition; and wherein activation of the power source (25) causes switching of the visible marker (14, 24) from an off state to an on state and actuation of the indicator strip (18, 28) from a first state to a second state, such that the power source's activation is indicated by the actuation of the indicator strip (18, 28) to its second state; and wherein the visible marker (14, 24) remains in an on state only if there is sufficient power to operate the initiation system.

摘要: The invention relates to an integrated heat exchanger in a composite fibre reinforced polymer material, more preferably to a structural integrated heat exchanger which may be used for replacement panels. The integrated heat exchangers may comprise a solid or fluidic heat exchanger material which is able to transfer heat around the structure. The heat exchanger may be selected to transfer excess heat away from the device or transfer heat into the device. 摘要: According to the invention there is provided a component including a supercapacitor and a method of producing same. The component comprises a first (12) and second (14) electrode and a separator structure (16) which separates the two electrodes and contains a liquid or gel electrolyte. The first and second electrode structures are each formed from a composite material (10) which includes electrically conductive fibres and electrochemically active material in a binder matrix and the supercapacitor is formed to be structurally inseparable from the rest of the component. Further, the component forms a structural capacitor. The obtained structural capacitor could be used in aircraft structure to save weight.
