摘要: The invention provides a method for preparing a photocatalytically active composite, the method comprising the steps of (i) providing a mixture of a semiconductor particle, a metal salt and a chemical reducing agent; (ii) permitting the reducing agent to reduce the metal salt in the presence of the semiconductor material; and (iii) heating the mixture, thereby to generate a composite having a semiconductor particle decorated with one or more metal particles. Also provided is the photocatalytically active composite obtainable or obtained by the method, and the use of the composite as a photocatalyst.
