摘要： The present disclosure describes examples of smart mobility devices such as a hybrid wheelchair that includes a frame configured to be rolled along a support surface. The hybrid wheelchair includes a plurality of wheels rotatably attached to the frame for rolling contact with the support surface. One of the wheels may be a rear wheel powered by a motor. A seat is positioned above the plurality of wheels. In a first mode of operation, the wheelchair is propelled manually, in a second mode of operation the wheelchair is propelled by the motor, and in a third mode of operation, the wheelchair is propelled both manually and by the motor.
