Abstract: A flexible printed circuit board (100) comprises a printed conductor (101) and at least one component (102) forming an interface region (103) with said flexible printed circuit board. The conductor (101) elongates through the interface region (103), wherein stiffness of said component (101) is greater than stiffness of the flexible printed circuit board (100) thereby causing mechanical discontinuity point on said conductor at the interface region (103). The flexible printed circuit board (100) is configured (105) to stiffen in the direction (104) of the conductor (101) towards said component (102) at least in the interface region (103) in order to eliminate or minimize said mechanical discontinuity point.
