    Abstract: A housing for a vehicle HVAC system includes a case and a drainage port that drains fluid from the case of the housing. The drainage port includes a spout and defines a first fluid passage and a second fluid passage. An outlet of the first fluid passage and an outlet of the second fluid passage may be adjacent to each other at the spout. The first fluid passage fluidly couples a first region of the case to the spout, and the second fluid passage fluid fluidly couples a second region of the case to the spout. Based on the pressure of the first region and the second region, fluid flowing through the first fluid passage or the second fluid passage accelerates at the outlet of the respective passage to form a vacuum at the spout.

    Abstract: The present teachings provide for an HVAC assembly. A first flue (134) is configured to fluidly couple a first heat exchanger (102) to a mixing flue (138). A second flue (130) is configured to fluidly couple a second heat exchanger (106) to the mixing flue (138). A door (182) can inhibit fluid communication through the second flue (130) when in a first position. The door (130) can inhibit fluid communication through the first flue (134) when in a second position. The door (182) can permit fluid communication through the first and second flues (134, 130) when in a third position. The third flue (142) is configured to fluidly couple the first heat exchanger (102) to a portion (170) of the second flue (130) downstream of the second heat exchanger (106) and upstream of the mixing flue (138) when the door (182) is in the third position.
