Abstract: A soft tacky composition comprising a polymer, in particular a silicone gel, is provided for use as a pottant (105) within a power converter (100), in particular a micro-inverter. The composition when cured, has a hardness measured by Shore A scale less than 30, thermal conductivity of no less than 0.2 W/m·K, and has a tacky surface. A power converter filled with the soft tacky gel and the process of manufacturing the power converter are also provided.
