Abstract:
A method and apparatus to process a diverted molten polymer waste stream directs the polymer stream to one of at least two passages, separates it into individual segments while containing and discharging it from a containement exit, cools each segment with a quench fluid to form a solid or semi-solid polymer, and transports the solidified segments away from the exit and into a container using the quench fluid. The apparatus includes a cross-section transition connector, a moveable block with two passages, a block oscillator, a cut-off plate, an open space above an inclined transporting device, a quench fluid jet, and a quench fluid transporting trough. The transporting trough provides adequate time and cooling for solidification and transportation of segments to a desired location laterally spaced from the exit. The cross-section transition connector changes the polymer cross-section from cylindrical to a flattened cylinder. The multiple passages provide a continuous path so pressure does not build up in the polymer stream.

[00681 A wall-mounted shelving system is provided that is easy to install, allows for a placement which is unlimited by stud location, holds heavy loads, and is easily cleanable. This wall-mounted shelving system includes a track and a bracket engagable with the track. The bracket has a collar for supporting a shelf-carrying pilaster and an engaging element protruding from the collar that includes a floor and an arm projecting upwardly from the floor to define an elbow. The track is adapted to be mounted horizontally on a wall and includes a downwardly open channel at its top and an outwardly projecting ledge at its bottom. The upper extreme of the engaging element arm is received in the channel of the track while the elbow can be supported to rest on the ledge. A pilaster is adapted to then be supported in the collar through an intermediate wedge member, and shelves and other objects can be supported on the pilaster.

A utility cart includes an auxiliary swivel caster wheel assembly, a locking mechanism, and a trigger mechanism for causing the locking mechanism to releasably lock the auxiliary swivel caster wheel assembly. The auxiliary swivel caster wheel assembly is unlocked to enable the auxiliary swivel caster wheel to rotate about a vertical axis for improved maneuverability in small areas, and is locked to hold the auxiliary swivel caster wheel in a predetermined position for improved steering as the cart is moved from one location to another. The trigger mechanism is disposed on a steering handle to enable dynamic actuation of the locking mechanism while the cart is in motion.
Abstract:
A shelf support system includes a sleeve or wedge member and a collar adapted to be secured to a generally cylindrical support post. The sleeve has an inner surface that is configured to embrace the support post and an outer surface formed with a first axially outwardly Inclined wedge portion and at least one second axially outwardly inclined wedge portion that, when viewed in such radial cross-section, extends at an angle to the first portion. Additionally, the collar is adapted to be secured to a member to be supported and to embrace the sleeve. The collar has a first wedge surface formed to mate with the first portion of the outer surface of the sleeve and at least one second wedge surface formed to mate with the second portion of the outer surface of the sleeve.
