    Abstract: Contact unit for a switching device and switching device A contact unit (10) for a switching device comprises a first and a second fixed contact (12, 13), a contact bridge (16) and a first and a second movable contact (14, 15) that are arranged at the contact bridge (16). The contact unit (10) further comprises a first, a second and a third arc extinguishing chamber (21, 22, 23) and an arc guiding system (35). The first fixed contact (12) is in contact to the first movable contact (14) and the second fixed contact (13) is in contact to the second movable contact (15) in a switched-on state of the contact unit (10) and is free of contact in a switched-off state of the contact unit (10), respectively. The first and the second arc extinguishing chamber (21, 22) and the arc guiding system (35) are configured in coordination with each other for extinguishing a first arc originating between the first fixed contact (12) and the first movable contact (14) depending on a current direction of a current flowing through the first fixed contact (12) and the first movable contact (14) whereas the third arc extinguishing chamber (23) is configured for extinguishing a second arc originating between the second fixed contact (13) and the second movable contact (15) independent of a current direction of a current flowing through the second fixed contact (13) and the second movable contact (15).

    Abstract: Eine Schaltvorrichtung (1) umfasst ein Schaltgerät (10) zum Abschalten einer jeweiligen Phase eines Kurzschlussstroms. Das Schaltgerät (10) weist mehrere Ausblasöffnungen (101, 02, 103) zum Ausblasen eines jeweiligen Gasstroms (G1, G2, G3) von Schaltgasen nach dem Abschalten eines Kurzschlussstromes auf. Die Schaltvorrichtung (1) umfasst weiter einen Behälter (20) zur Aufnahme der Schaltgase und eine Kühlvorrichtung (30) zum Kühlen der Schaltgase. Die Kühlvorrichtung (30) weist mehrere Ausblaskanäle (301, 302, 303) zum Ausströmen der Schaltgase aus der Schaltvorrichtung (1) auf, die in den Behälter (20) einmünden. Die aus den Ausblasöffnungen (101, 102, 103) des Schaltgeräts (10) in den Behälter (20) einströmenden Gasströme (G1, G2, G3) der Schaltgase durchmischen sich in dem Behälter (20) und das dabei entstehende Gasgemisch kann aus jedem der Ausblaskanäle (301, 302, 303) aus der Schaltvorrichtung (1) austreten.

    Abstract: A pyrotechnic switching and interruption apparatus comprises a conductive rod (30) to define a current conduction path between a first and second electrical conductor (10, 20). In a first operation state of the apparatus (1), the conductive rod (30) is arranged in the area between the first and second electrical conductor (10, 20) to electrically couple the first and second electrical conductor (10, 20) via the current conduction path. In a second operation state of the apparatus (1), a piston (40) is moved by a pyrotechnic actuator (50) to a position in the area between the first and second electrical conductor (10, 20) to interrupt the current conduction path between the first and second electrical conductor (10, 20).
