Abstract: A pinch valve comprising: a pinch tube housing a pinch sleeve having an operating cross- section in a control region of the pinch sleeve; a squeezer comprising a resilient pinching head that contacts the pinch sleeve in a region of the operating cross-section and is controllable to translate the pinching head selectively to apply force to the region and decrease the operating cross-section, or to relax force that the pinching head applies to the region to increase the operating cross-section.
