Abstract:
Disclosed is an anti-misinsertion mechanism for a card connector defining a correct card thickness, the mechanism comprising: a body; a first link generally extending along the body, the first link including an actuator for actuating the first link to be rotated from a normal position toward an operating position upon detecting existence of the correct thickness of a partially-inserted card; and a second link provided with a stopper for selectively preventing full insertion of the card, the second link being pivoted to the body and operatively connected to the first link, thereby being rotatable between a normal position and an operating position relative to the normal and operating positions of the first link.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a sensor module (100) for a card connector (50), the connector having an inlet end (52) through which the card is inserted, and a terminating (54) end opposing the inlet (52) end, characterized in that: the sensor module (100) is provided at the terminating end (54) and activated by a leading edge of the card from a normally non-actuated position to an actuated position. Further disclosed is a card connector (50) having such a sensor module (100).
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a module card ejecting mechanism comprising an ejecting plate and a push-push ejecting mechanism, wherein the push-push ejecting mechanism substantially comprises a housing, a pushing rod, a rotator, a spring and an end cap.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a low-profile stacked media card connector (110), having: a housing (120) defining a first storage area (130) for receiving a first card-like media and a second storage area (140) for receiving a second card-like media, the second storage area (140) being stacked above the first storage area (130); a first connecting means (132) being arranged substantially between the first storage area (130) and the second storage area (140); and a second connecting means (142) for connecting the second card-like media, the second connecting means(142) being provided on the housing(120).
