Abstract:
The invention relates to a drillship, comprising a hull (2) which extends along a longitudinal axis (X) between a bow (3) and a stern (4). The ship (1) comprises at least three separate operating zones distributed between bow and stern along the axis (X): -a first operating zone (10) of ship management, in which the safety and abandon ship means are stored; - a second operating zone (20) of drilling; and - a third operating zone (30) of power generation. The second operating zone (20) and the third operating zone (30) being connected to the first operating zone (10) by two longitudinal lateral corridors (41) and (42), made under the main deck, each of which extends beside a ship side (5, 6). Said two longitudinal corridors (41, 42) are connected to each other transversally by one or more transversal corridors (51, 52, 53), each of which extends from one ship side to the other under the main deck.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drillship, comprising a hull (2) which extends along a longitudinal axis X between a bow (3) and a stern (4). The ship (1) comprises a main deck (5), above which a drill floor (6) is positioned, and one or more drilling towers (7', 7"), each of which extends above the drill floor (6) in proximity of least one moon pool (8', 8") which vertically crosses the hull (2) at the drill floor (6) to the bottom (9) of the hull itself. Each of said one or more drilling towers has a box-like structure and supports the lifting devices (70) externally to itself. The drill floor (6) extends completely outside the floor dimensions of said one or more drilling towers (7', 7" so as to exploit the available space on the ship.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a floating unit for drilling operations in particular a drill ship, comprising a floating structure 2 which defines a main deck 3, above which a drill floor 4 is placed, and at least one drilling tower 5 having a box-like structure which extends above the drill floor 4 next to at least one moon pool 6, which vertically crosses the floating structure at the drill floor 4 as far as the bottom 8 of said floating structure. The drilling tower 5 is directly supported by a support structure 10 structurally integrated with the floating structure 2. The support structure 10 of the tower 5 and/or the tower 5 crosses the drill floor 4. The drill floor is structurally supported by the support structure 10 of the tower and/or by the tower itself.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ship for long period stationing at sea comprising a hull (2) which extends along a longitudinal axis X between a bow (3) and a stern (4). The hull comprises at least one protuberance (10) having a flattened shape which forms a shelf extending from the hull in the direction of the width of the ship. The protuberance is positioned at the bow or at the stern and extends in a longitudinal direction astride the bow or stern end of the ship (1) towards the midship, at least partially encompassing the fore or aft part of the hull on both sides (5) and (6) with two separate branches (10a, 10b) the protuberance is positioned in relation to the hull so as to always be below the waterline B of the ship posing resistance to the movements in a vertical direction of the ship 1 at sea generated by the swell, thus dampening the pitching and heaving movements.
