Abstract:
A drive unit for rail lubricating devices and a method for using the same solves the problem of the using impact of rolling stock wheel to drive lubricating device, and preventing or mitigating peak caused by impact and resulting pressure overload or uncontrolled application of the lubricating medium in different climatic conditions or at different external temperatures by using the impact of at least one wheel of rail vehicles via the pivoting lever (4), also described as a rocker arm, and the inertia of this motion to operate the lubrication device in such a way that it changes the kinetic-potential energy of the rolling wheel impact (1) into torque (8) without the help of added hydraulic fluid and without creating a negative pressure for the purpose of pushing the medium or dosing.
Abstract:
Flexible application element solves technical problem of improper application of application material in such a way that a flexible application element is attached to appropriate position onto grooved or vignole rail. Said flexible application element due to its form comprising the base and projections extending outward from said base, said projections preferably flexible, enables application material such as lubricant or material for increasing friction or special depositing materials or plurality thereof or combination thereof delivered from predetermined dosage point to reach a predetermined point on a rail wheel passing on said rail. This flexible application element is therefore used to spread or apply application material such as lubricant, or material for increasing friction or special depositing materials or plurality thereof or combination thereof, onto passing rail wheel.

A pushing-dispensing and/or dosing element for dispensing of medium, in particular Composite Heavy Fluid Compound (CHFC) or plurality thereof solves technical problem of implementation of a pushing-dispensing and/or dosing element that will not have sliding and/or moving parts, or it will have a limited number of said sliding and/or moving parts essentially exposed to medium, preferably CHFC, or plurality thereof by using a flexible cartridge that behaves differently during the pushing of CHFC, and differently during pumping of said CHFCs out of the tank in which they are held.
Abstract:
Rail head lubrication borehole and method for supplying of lubricant to rail head solves technical problem of lubricating of rails through a borehole, wherein said borehole runs through said rail head and starts on essentially upper surface of rail head regardless whether this surface forms part of top of rail head or side of rail head and ends below rail head next to rail web in such a way that said borehole does not intersect with vertical line of said rail or imaginary line of edge of rail web zone, said zone extending along rail web and through said rail head thus providing for unimpeded load bearing ability of rail web and rail head above said rail web. In such a way there is sufficient room for traversing of rail lifting mechanism on essentially underside of rail head.
Abstract:
Technical problem of time lag between start of operation and application of medium onto the rail vehicle wheel 's flank is solved by line distributor, preferably for anti-noise device for rail brakes wherein the line distributor is positioned directly next to rails to provide for accurate dosage in real time and in required-desired quantity. In such a case the dosage tubes are reduced to the length enabling correct operation of an applicator. The device is preferably used for application of anti-noise material onto wheel's flanks of rail vehicles. In addition flat guides of the applicator are replaced with guides with rounded, preferably essentially elliptical, more preferably essentially circular cross section so the edges of damaged wheels do not transfer shocks onto the device. The distributors in general are devices used for distribution and dosage of medium onto the wheel of the rail vehicle which is approaching part of the rails with additional friction between wheel rim and rail or some other device such as rail switch, rail brake, leading rail or some other device. The medium for purposes of this application in this case is means for spreading around the wheel's flank and it does not necessarily mean means for lowering of a friction coefficient - in fact it may even mean means for increase of said friction coefficient. Said lubricant according to this invention is preferably very complex Composite Heavy Fluid Compound (CHFC).

Abstract:
Lamella of rail element, preferably rail brake and method of its use solves technical problem of vibrations, friction and resulting noise in such a way that at least one lamella is settled to rail element, preferably above or below said rail element or by means of attaching or inserting into at least one groove made into braking part of said rail brake, said lamella is made of composite material with anti-noise, and not necessarily braking, effects. A method of noise reduction caused by rail element, preferably rail brake according to this invention provides for limiting of noise during braking whereby at least one lamella is operating on at least one wheel of a rolling stock, wherein method of limiting of noise during braking comprises the following steps: - entrance of said wheel into said rail element, preferably rail brake; - contact between lamella of rail element attached to rail element, preferably rail brake, and said at least one wheel of said rolling stock; - friction between said rail element, preferably rail brake and said at least one wheel of said rolling stock, due to braking /reduction of speed/ of said rolling stock, and resulting in high frequency noise; - limitation of noise propagation using said lamella of said rail element, preferably rail brake in such a way that said lamella of said rail element, preferably rail brake acts as anti-noise barrier or its part or damper having elastic structure and resulting in absorbing vibrations caused by contact between said at least one wheel of said rolling stock and said rail element, preferably rail brake; - optionally, release of noise reduction substance, said noise reduction substance comprised in said lamella of said rail element, preferably rail brake.
Abstract:
Lubricating device for lubrication of wheels of rail vehicles or rails from the rail vehicle, without use of compressed air and method for its use solves technical problem of dosage of sophisticated lubricants with high contents of solid particles without compressed air with method enabling dosage onto the wheel by means of oscillating, pulsating element. As the wheels of rail vehicles are geometrically changing all the time, there is an applicator as part of the lubrication device designed to follow deformation of the wheels. The pulsating oscillation is limited to required width of the lubricating film on the wheel profile which is in contact with the rail. The pulsating can be even or uneven.
