Abstract: The present invention relates to animal litter and more particularly to cat litter, which comprises oxidized cellulose, including non-regenerated oxidized cellulose. The oxidized cellulose animal litters are lightweight, highly absorbent, compressible and have excellent odor control and antimicrobial properties.
