Abstract: A system includes a charging apparatus to charge airborne particles, and a vapor generator to supply vapor to the charging apparatus. The charging apparatus includes an electrode portion and a ventilation passage passing through the electrode portion. A supply rate of the vapor supplied by the vapor generator is approximately 0.20 to 0.50 mg/min per 1 cm 2 of a cross-sectional area of the ventilation passage. Additionally, the system includes a collecting apparatus to collect the airborne particles charged by the charging apparatus.
