Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein that may be used to determine a destination for sidelink transmission based on the priority of the transmission and/or other parameters associated with the transmission. In examples, a destination may be selected if one or more logical channels associated with the destination have a bucket size parameter exceeding a certain threshold and the one or more logical channels have a highest priority. Various other techniques are also described herein that relate to the configuration and/or report of QoS information, selection of sidelink resources, use of a minimum communication range, etc.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described for handling positioning reference signals in a wireless communication system. The positioning reference signals may be assigned priorities that may be used to facilitate various operations of a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) such as positioning related services, collision avoidance, measurement and reporting, etc. The WTRU may be configured with multiple muting patterns associated with the positioning reference signals and may switch between different muting patterns based on the priorities of the positioning reference signals and/or other downlink (DL) or uplink (UL) transmissions that may overlap or collide with the positioning reference signals.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein that may be associated with new radio (NR) vehicular communication (V2X) sidelink power saving for unicast and groupcast. A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a message. The message may indicate a set of configuration groups and/or one or more suitability selection parameters. The WTRU may receive, from a second WTRU, a first indication. The first indication may indicate that the second WTRU is associated with a first configuration group and a first priority group. The first WTRU may receive, from a third WTRU, a second indication. The second indication may indicate that the third WTRU is associated with a second configuration group and a second priority value. The first WTRU may select a configuration group from the set of configuration groups based on the first indication and the second indication.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for sidelink (SL) collision detection and indication (e.g., in new radio (NR) vehicular communications (V2X)). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send resource reservations (e.g., in sidelink control information (SCI)). A receiving (RX) WTRU may receive SCI from (e.g., multiple) transmitting (TX) WTRUs, where the TX WTRUs are reserving resources for transmission. The TX WTRUs may be unaware of the other TX WTRUs (e.g., unaware of the resources being reserved by other TX WTRUs). Resources may be in conflict, for example, if the reserved resources overlap (e.g., partially or completely). Collision may occur, for example, if multiple TX WTRUs reserve the resources in conflict for transmission and/or if the TX WTRUs reserving the resources in conflict for transmission do not reselect a non-conflicting resource.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and a method are described herein regarding preservation of positioning integrity associated with wireless systems. Using multiple positioning configurations and/or schemes (e.g., positioning reference signal (PRS) configurations/ schemes), e.g., based on a switching pattern, may ensure integrity (e.g., adequate and/or robust integrity), for example, if error events (e.g., low reference signal received power, blockage of PRS from transmission/reception points (TRPs), etc.) have a persistent duration. The WTRU comprises a processor configured to receive a first, a second and a third subset of PRS configuration information, receive configuration information indicating error source information, a first switching pattern, and a positioning uncertainty threshold, perform a first set of measurements using the first switching pattern and the first and second subsets of PRS configuration information, determine a first positioning uncertainty based on the first set of measurements and the error source information, and send an indication indicating measurement information and positioning uncertainty information.

Abstract: WTRU autonomous sidelink (SL) unicast transmission beam management may be performed. A WTRU may be configured to receive a channel state information (CSI) configuration. The CSI configuration may indicate a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) transmission configuration and a CSI reporting configuration. The CSI-RS transmission configuration may indicate a CSI-RS transmission window. The WTRU may be configured to select a first resource for a CSI-RS transmission. The selected first resource may be within the CSI-RS transmission window. The WTRU may be configured to determine a CSI transmission window, for example, based on one or more of the CSI reporting configuration, a processing capability of a peer WTRU, a minimum communication range, estimated channel information, or a quality of service (QoS) parameter. The WTRU may be configured to select a second resource to receive a CSI report. The second resource may be within the determined CSI transmission window.

Abstract: A transmitting wireless transmit/receive unit (Tx WTRU) may receive configuration information that indicates one or more parameters. The one or more parameters may be associated with resource selection. The Tx WTRU may determine a first resource selection window and a second resource selection window. The first resource selection window may be associated with an active time of a receiving wireless transmit/receive unit (Rx WTRU). The second resource selection window may be associated with an inactive time of the Rx WTRU. The Tx WTRU may determine a first number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window. The Tx WTRU may determine a first number of candidate resources associated with the second resource selection window. In examples, the Tx WTRU may increase the first number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window to a second number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window.

Handover decisions may be determined, for example, based on measurements of direct connections, sidelink connections, and/or backhaul connections. Handover decisions may be optimized, for example, based on measurement reporting behavior. A remote wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) (e.g., a WTRU that may be configured to connect to a network, for example, using a relay WTRU) in sidelink relay operation with a relay WTRU may determine measurement reporting behavior (e.g., associated with performed measurements of the direct connections, sideline connections, and/or backhaul connections), for example, while considering the sidelink quality associated with the relay WTRU.

Discovery data may be transmitted, for example, to initialize communication between devices. Discovery data may be transmitted alone or multiplexed with other data (e.g., sidelink data). Discovery data with a high priority may be transmitted alone. Discovery data with a low priority may be multiplexed with other data (e.g., other data received within a duration of time). Discovery data may be multiplexed with other data that share the same destination identity. Resource allocation may be performed, for example, based on whether the discovery data is transmitted alone or multiplexed with other data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for unicast and/or multicast link establishment and maintenance. A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may send a link establishment request broadcast message, wherein the link may be for multicast, unicast, or groupcast. The WTRU may receive a link establishment response broadcast message and a connectivity report. The WTRU may then send a link establishment confirmation broadcast message once a multicast or unicast link has been established, at which point the WTRU may send and receive a multicast message. The link establishment request message may be sent based on one or more triggers: receiving a QoS flow, needing a new sidelink radio bearer, determining that a new QoS flow or radio bearer requires network controlled admission control, and/or receive a unicast and/or multicast establishment request. The WTRU may transmit a unicast and/or multicast usability signal (UMUS). The WTRU may preempt the established multicast or unicast link.
