    Abstract: Systems and related manifold assemblies are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus comprises or includes a cassette assembly of a sipper manifold assembly comprising or having a cassette housing, one or more sipper tubes, one or more sipper couplings, and one or more biasing elements. The one or more sipper tubes comprise or have a proximal end and a distal end. The one or more sipper couplings is movably coupled to the cassette housing the proximal end of the sipper tubes are coupled to the sipper couplings. The one or more biasing elements bias the one or more sipper couplings. The one or more biasing elements allow relative movement between the sipper tubes and the cassette housing.

    Abstract: Well assemblies and related methods are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus includes a liquid reservoir containing a liquid and a well assembly including a body, a hydrophobic venting membrane, and a cover. The body defines a well and has an opening and a port. The port is couplable to the liquid reservoir. The hydrophobic venting membrane is coupled to the body and covers the opening and cover covers the hydrophobic venting membrane. As the liquid is flowed into the well via the port, the hydrophobic venting membrane vents gas contained within the well.

    Abstract: Cartridges and related systems and methods are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, a method includes securing a sample container in a sample container receptacle of a cartridge using a sample container lock and coupling the cartridge to a cartridge receptacle of a system. The method also includes depositing a sample from the sample container within a sample well of the cartridge and determining a presence of a target molecule within the sample using the system. In response to the target molecule being present within the sample, the method includes releasing the sample container lock of the cartridge to allow the sample container to be removed from the sample container receptacle and for the cartridge to remain coupled to the system.
