Abstract: This invention is intraocular lenses, stent, pacemaker housings, venous graft, and methods of producing intraocular lenses. The intraocular lens include an optic (32), and a haptic (34) that are intergrally formed together. The haptic has a polyamide coating (36). The polyamide coating promotes fibrosis in the surrounding eye tissue to enhance the anchoring of the IOL after implantation.
