Abstract: A battery system which includes a plurality of cylindrical cells, including a first cylindrical cell and a second cylindrical cell, an electrical tab that is connected to the first cylindrical cell and the second cylindrical cell using spot welding, and a battery management printed circuit board, where the electrical tab provides a connecting surface for a battery management signal between (1) the first cylindrical cell and the second cylindrical cell and (2) the battery management printed circuit board.
