In particular, the embodiment aims to reduce overall onboarding time for a plurality of enrollee devices by controlling enrollment of the enrollee devices based on the status (e.g. availability, readiness, workload, etc.) of the configurator device.

In particular, embodiments aim to support permitted enrollee devices in a DPP bootstrapping process with a third party involved without sharing network security credentials. Embodiments of the present invention relate to digital rights management. In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, one or more portions are adaptively selected from the original digital content and used to generate the new digital content, based on the user's preference indicated in the profile. In the new digital content, all the portions are encrypted separately, for example, with different keys. In this manner, each and every portion contained in the new digital content is of interest to the user and is encrypted separately. The proposed user-specific DRM protection facilities avoiding unnecessary consumption of resources and time and improving user experience.
Abstract:
An access point apparatus, a control apparatus and a method are defined for connecting a guest device to a wireless network according to a device provisioning protocol, DPP. A guest channel and an administrative channel are utilised in order to ensure separation of the wireless network, such that the guest device is never connected to the administrative channel. The administrative channel is used by the control apparatus to fetch guest connection information from the access point apparatus, which is then communicated to the guest device. The guest device then uses this information to facilitate the connection to the wireless network via the guest channel.

The input for the search engine is constructed in iterative stages, by initializing the input with a placeholder symbol, and iteratively replacing (responsive to a user input) placeholder symbols with input sections. An input section may comprise a variable to be searched, one or more additional placeholder symbols or a function.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to digital rights management. A method for managing rights transfer of using digital content from a first device (120) to a second device (130) is proposed, comprising generating at an authentication device (110) a first authentication dataset C by encrypting a first verification code R1 using at least one public key for at least one device blacklisted by the authentication device (110). The first authentication dataset C and a second verification code R2 are provided from the authentication device 110 to the first device (120) and a response message M is returned from the second device (130) to the authentication device (110). The method also comprises verifying validity of the second device (130) at the authentication device (110) based on the received response message M . In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, the DRM protected digital content can be shared with high security, while the recipient is kept anonymous to the DRM server.

A method for group provisioning for a number of Wi-Fi devices to enable them to connect to a wireless network. The method utilizes an identity-based broadcasting encryption (IBBE) like scheme in a SmartConfig scenario to facilitate an efficient group Wi-Fi provisioning and improve network security at the same time. It also discloses a configurator, as well as a W-Fi device, to implement the group provisioning method.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to digital rights management. A method is proposed, comprising the steps of decrypting at least one encrypted content item of a digital content, storing the at least one decrypted content item in a volatile storage, and associating an identification of the at least one decrypted content item with an address of the at least one decrypted content item in the volatile storage. Corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also disclosed. In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, the DRM protected content items can be efficiently and effectively located, retrieved, and displayed while ensuring the data security.

Provided is an Automated External Defibrillator AED and a server. The AED makes an ECG measurement of a heart and transmits the measurement to a remote processing device, for example the server, and receives back from the server a first classification of the ECG measurement. The AED also performs a local analysis of the ECG measurement to determine a second classification of the ECG measurement. The AED determines whether to administer a shock/instruct a user to administer a shock based on the first and second classifications.

Apparatus and methods for verifying the authenticity of images or videos, in particular from a vehicle driving recorder. The apparatus can include a personal communication device operable to certify the authenticity of images or videos that have been recorded by vehicle driving recorder. The personal communication device does this by at least one of: embedding a watermark; and calculating a hash value. The apparatus can also include a verification server, operable to verify the authenticity of the images or video. This can comprise verifying the authenticity of the watermark or the hash value.
