摘要: Machine-learning techniques and models are described for alerting users to attacks on accounts in real-time or near real-time. In some embodiments, an attack detection model uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and multi-level classification techniques to monitor login attempts and detect attacks. The model may use NLP to convert text associated with account activity to numerical vectors, where the vectors include scores and/or other numerical values computed based on the meaning of the converted text. The model may further include a set of classifiers trained to learn patterns in the numerical vectors that are predictive of a network attack. The model may assign labels to events based on the predicted likelihood that the event is an attack. The system may deploy real-time preventative or corrective measures based on the ML model output to counter or mitigate the effects of an attack.

The certification server is configured, in response to authenticating the transmitted electronic documents and the corresponding data payloads, to generate in a portion of a trusted database associated with the user and/or user organisation linked to the client application, a corresponding data record comprising the authenticated electronic document and associated data items obtained from the authenticated data payload, and accordingly return a unique identification number and a timestamp associated with the generation of the data record.

摘要: A beacon device comprising directional transmission means transmits a challenge message in a first predetermined direction to each of one or more responder devices over a respective direct radio communication link, to invite the responder devices to each transmit a respective response message indicating knowledge of contents of the challenge message. The beacon device transmits one or more directed repetitions of the challenge message in one or more respective further predetermined directions such that data relating to the location of each of the responder devices can be inferred from timings of each response message with respect to times the challenge message and the directed repetitions of the challenge message were transmitted. The beacon device either engages in or eschews subsequent two-way communication with each of the one or more responder devices over the respective direct radio communication link, in dependence on the existence and timing of a respective response message.
