Abstract: A control method for a laundry treatment apparatus, where the laundry treatment apparatus includes a first reservoir for holding water and defining a first opening for introduction of laundry, a second reservoir placed inside the first reservoir, the second reservoir being rotatable about a rotation axis perpendicular to a bottom surface of the first reservoir and defining a second opening that is positioned under the first opening, a through-hole that is defined in the second reservoir, a spray unit for spraying water to an inside of the second reservoir, and a drain unit for draining water inside the first reservoir, includes rotating the second reservoir to thereby apply force on laundry received in the second reservoir, spraying water to the inside of the second reservoir via the spray unit, and discharging the sprayed water in the second reservoir to an outside of the first reservoir via the drain unit.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a control method of a washing machine which minimizes damage to laundry to be washed. The control method includes executing a washing cycle to wash laundry to be washed by supplying wash water, dissolving detergent in wash water and washing the laundry, executing a rinsing cycle to rinse the laundry by draining wash water, spin-drying the laundry, and rinsing the laundry, and executing a spin-drying cycle to spin-dry the laundry by draining wash water and spin-drying the laundry, wherein the dissolving of the detergent is carried out at a water level lower than a predetermined reference water level.

Abstract: A control method for a laundry treatment apparatus, which includes a first reservoir configured to hold water and defining a first opening to receive laundry therethrough, a second reservoir placed inside the first reservoir and defining a second opening, and a pulsator rotatably provided inside the second reservoir, includes supplying water to the first reservoir and performing primary washing of the first and second reservoirs by rotating at least one of the pulsator or the second reservoir. The primary washing step includes performing a first motion by rotating the pulsator to produce a water stream inside the first and second reservoirs, and performing a second motion by rotating the second reservoir to cause water to move upward along a space between an inner circumferential surface of the first reservoir and an outer circumferential surface of the second reservoir and then be introduced into the second reservoir through the second opening.
