Abstract: The invention is directed to a regulator (2) for compressed gas, comprising a body (4) with a gas inlet (6), a gas outlet (8) and a gas passage (10) fluidly interconnecting said gas inlet (6) and gas outlet (8); a pressure reducer (14) with, in the gas passage (10), a shut-off device and a movable assembly operatively connected to the shut-off device and delimiting with the body (4) a regulating chamber (14.6) downstream of the shut-off device; a pressure relief device (16) in the gas passage (10) downstream of the regulating chamber; and a flow restriction (22) in the gas passage (10) upstream of the shut-off device, dimensioned for reducing the gas pressure at the gas outlet (8) under a maximum pressure value when the pressure relief device (16) is opened and the shut-off device is opened.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a valve closing member (12) for cooperating with a valve seat (14), comprising: a body (16) a front circular face (16.5) forming a central protrusion (16.2) along a longitudinal axis of said body; a seal (18) forming a ring fitted on the front circular face (16.5) and around the central protrusion (16.2); and- a retainer (20) forming a ring surrounding the seal (18) and attached to the body (16) for retaining said seal (18) on said body (16); wherein the seal (18) shows a radially inner surface (18.2) contacting a radially outer surface (16.4) of the central protrusion (16.2), said radially inner surface (18.2) and radially outer surface (16.4) being both cylindrical, said radially outer surface (16.4) showing at least one circular groove (16.3) into which the seal is radially pressed by the retainer (20).
