Abstract: In one embodiment, a distance sensor includes an image capturing device positioned to capture an image of a field of view and a first plurality of projection points arranged around a first lens of the image capturing device, wherein each projection point of the first plurality of projection points is configured to emit a plurality of projection beams in different directions within the field of view.
