摘要: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head having an interior mirror reflective element. The mirror reflective element has a mirror transflector that transmits near-IR light incident thereon, transmits visible light incident thereon and reflects visible light incident thereon. The mirror assembly includes a camera disposed within the mirror head and viewing through the mirror transflector. The camera includes an imaging sensor having a quantum efficiency (QE) of at least 15% for near-infrared (near-IR) light having a wavelength of 940 nm. The mirror assembly further includes first, second and third near-IR illumination sources disposed within the mirror head and operable to emit near-IR light that passes through the mirror transflector. The near-IR illumination sources are at respective angles relative to a planar front surface of the mirror reflective element and, when powered, illuminate respective in-cabin regions for a driver monitoring function or an occupant detection function.

摘要: A lighted exterior mirror system suitable for use in a vehicle includes a lighted exterior rearview mirror assembly having a light module, which includes a planar circuit board and a light guiding element. The light module includes a plurality of illumination sources disposed on a mounting side of the circuit board and operable to emit light. When the illumination sources are actuated, light emitted by each of the illumination sources is emitted in a direction normal to the mounting side of the planar circuit board. The light guiding element is configured so that light emitted by the illumination sources is redirected by the light guiding element so that light emanates from the light guiding element in a direction parallel to the mounting side of the planar circuit board and parallel to the road surface.

摘要: A system and method for image display on vehicle interior component is disclosed. The system and method is configured to display objects obstructed to the field of view of the operator of the vehicle on a display panel; the objects may be visible to the operator viewing the display panel in a consistent scale/form with objects visible to the operator through the windshield and side windows of the vehicle. The system may be configured to obtain an image from a remote/separate camera and transform/map to a display image on a display panel to provide a more accurate representation of size/scale of objects for the operator/driver viewpoint (e.g. a simulated "invisible" pillar effect). 摘要: 본 발명은 한 대 이상의 카메라가 장착된 차량에서의 주행 정보 제공 방법에 있어서, 상기 카메라로부터 수신된 차량의 외부 영상 데이터를 실시간으로 영상 처리하여, 장애물을 검출하는 단계, 검출된 장애물의 위치와 차량 자신과의 거리를 기반으로 충돌 위험성을 예측하는 단계, FSD(Free Space Detection) 알고리즘을 이용하여, 상기 카메라로부터 수신된 차량의 외부 영상 데이터를 처리하여 주행 가능 영역을 검출하는 단계 및 상기 충돌 위험성과 주행 가능 영역을 통해 주행 가능 여부 정보를 제공하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 장애물로 분류하기 어려운 단일 색상, 단순 패턴의 벽체나 기둥을 장애물로 인식할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
