Abstract: A wipe dispenser and related methods are disclosed herein. In one form, a wall mounted wipe dispensing system is disclosed comprising a wall mount support bracket, a dispensing bag of wipes having a rigid collar from which to suspend the dispensing bag from the wall mount support bracket, and wherein the wall mount support bracket and dispensing bag have first mating structures for mating the dispensing bag to the wall mount support bracket. Abstract: A medical kit 100 includes a drape 1323. A plurality of pockets (1302, 1303, 1304, 1305, 1306,1307) are disposed along a bottom edge of the drape 1323 in a linear, side-by-side arrangement. A plurality of medical implements (1310,1311,1312,1313, 1314, 1315) are stowed in the plurality of pockets on a one-to-one basis. Medical indicia (1316,1317,1318,1319,1320,1321) is disposed along each pocket. The medical indicia can include comprising one or more educational prompts that instruct medical personnel how to use a particular medical implement disposed in a pocket to complete a central catheter dressing change.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are presented herein useful to provide a protective medical garment, such as a gown, head covering, or gloves with a cooling property or agent. In one approach, the protective medical garment comprises a non-woven fabric that is at least partially-treated on an interior surface thereof with a phase change cooling agent. For example, a surgical gown may have a torso section and sleeves, with the phase change cooling agent deposited in areas adjacent the wearer's trunk, neck, underarms, or wrists.

Abstract: In one aspect, a catheter securement device comprises a body portion having an upper surface and a lower surface, the body portion having a pocket that comprises a substantially tubular channel, the channel being open at the upper surface, the pocket further including a port cavity in communication with the channel. The securement device further comprises a strap portion movable between a fully closed position and a range of open positions. The strap portion at least partially covers the pocket when in a closed position thereby closing the channel at the upper surface. The strap portion allows access to the channel when in an open position.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to provide fluid nutrition and hydration. In one illustrative example, a feeding set for use with a peristaltic enteral feeding pump has sections of flexible tubing or conduit, a dispensing control valve that is in fluid communication with the tubing, and a retention disk. In some configurations, the feeding set has as attachment mechanism, which may be formed by one clips or hooks extending from the dispensing control valve and coupling geometry of the retention disk. By some approaches, the clips or hooks and the coupling geometry are configured to attach the feeding set with the pump, such as by attaching the feeding set to an internal panel of the feeding pump. In operation, the feeding set and pump are used to move fluid nutrition and hydration from a container or bag to the patient in a controlled manner.
