Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for establishing a thread connection by means of joining, wherein at least two ends (1) of at least two interconnectable threads (F) are arranged in overlapping manner in a chamber (3.1) of a device (3), wherein the chamber (3.1) is supplied with compressed air so as to create a form-fitting connection between the threads (F). According to the invention, a pulverulent adhesive is added to the compressed air and supplied to the chamber (3.1), together with the compressed air, to establish an additional integral connection between the threads (F) at least in the region of the form-fitting connection which has been created. The invention also relates to an adhesive for establishing such a thread connection.
