摘要: The ambient illuminance sensor system disclosed herein includes a light sensor to generate a series of ambient illuminance values from an area surrounding a computing device, a human presence sensor configured to detect presence of a human in vicinity of the computing device, and computer implemented instructions for determining ambient illuminance level (AIL) based on at least in part on the series of ambient illuminance values, determining presence of a human in vicinity of the light sensor, and based on at least in part on determining that the AIL is below a threshold and that a human is present, applying a hysteresis filter to process the series of ambient illuminance values.

摘要: OLED display color output may vary substantially as a function of display temperature, which changes over time. Luminance of each of the pixels is defined by the current flowing therethrough, which is a function of the applied voltage and resistivity of the pixels. Temperature affects the resistivity of the pixels and thus the current flowing therethrough if voltage is held constant. The temperature response of red, green, and blue pixels differs, particularly at low applied voltage levels. As a result, the relative luminance of red, green, blue may vary with temperature changes, which may yield an undesirable overall color variance. The presently disclosed systems and methods dynamically adjust driving voltage to maintain color quality within a desired specification, while also reducing (or in some implementations, minimizing) power consumption of the OLED display.

摘要: Sensor calibration methods and systems can for providing accurate color values are disclosed. In one example, a method includes obtaining color measurements that indicate an amount of ambient light, as well as clustering the color measurements, and storing cluster parameters for the clustered color measurements. The method can further include automatic calculation of, for each cluster, generic transformation parameters for conversion of a color measurement to a calibrated color value. In another example, a method can include exposing a light sensor to a calibration ambient lighting, calculating sensor correction parameters for the light sensor, and storing the calculated parameters. As an additional example, an electronic device is adapted to determine calibrated color values with machine readable media storing cluster parameters, sensor correction parameters, and generic transform parameters used by the electronic device to calculate calibrated color values for ambient light sensor measurements.
