A method to enable device switching by identifying nearby devices with short range communication comprising detecting a plurality of alternative communication devices using short range communication protocols, requesting for information from a plurality of alternative communication devices to a first communication device, collecting information from the plurality of alternative communication devices in proximity to the first communication device, selecting Device Analysis Module to process information and storing a result into a table.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system (1000) and method for content mirroring and distribution. The system is configured to mirror a presentation content from source devices (10, 20) to display devices (70, 80) via a wired connection while continuously distribute the presentation content to user devices (60) across a network via a wireless connection. The system (1000) comprises a first source device (10), a second source device (20), a wireless presentation system or WPS (30), and an application server (40).
Abstract:
A method and system (100) for wireless presentation of content from two devices (110, 120) comprising the steps of: acquiring the content, by a receiver (131), from a first device (110) to initiate a mirroring session on a display device (140); and, acquiring the data, by the receiver (132), from a second device (120) tor subsequent mirroring session; whereby the method is characterised by a further step of: determining, by a switcher (137), whether the content received from the second device (120) appears on foreground of the ongoing mirroring session so as to switch to the second device to initiate the subsequent mirroring session.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for secure playback of scheduled multimedia contents, The system comprising a content administrator (110), a content server (120), a display hosting device (130) and a display device (140). The display hosting device (130) further comprising a content agent (132), a device agent (133), a projection agent (134) and an overlay content sender module (137). Further, the method for secure playback of the scheduled multimedia content is provided herein to perform the same.
Abstract:
A system of session transfer using non-post active device comprising at least a Device Switching Application Server connected to at least a location server and a user profile/HSS server, at least an SIP/IMS server connected to the DSAS, at least a bob's mobile device connected to the SIP/IMS server, at least an Alice's device connected to the SIP/IMS server and at least a communication means connected to Alice's mobile device.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a system for providing an indoor positioning tracking, the system is characterized by having a wireless tag (102), a database handling module (105) and a hybrid positioning algorithm module (106). The system executes the following steps: establishing a communication link with one or more sensors (101) to obtain a first predicted location through a first positioning algorithm, employing at least one second positioning algorithm to obtain a second predicted location, determining conditions of the first predicted location of the wireless tag (102) and its respective movement patterns, applying weighting adjustments to coordination values of the first and second predicted locations based on the determined conditions, and combining the adjusted coordination values of the first and second predicted locations to obtain an accurate final predicted location.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system and method for managing voice query of a presentation. The system includes a client module (101), a moderating module (102), a transcriber module (103), an output display module (104), a controller module (105), a server (106) and a repository (107). The method involves generating a voice query through a client module (201) by recording an audio input; converting the audio input to text format (202); accessing the audio input stored in the server (203); retrieving the converted audio in text format stored in the server (204); and transmitting the converted audio in text format to display the converted audio in text format through at least one computing device (205).
Abstract:
A system and method for secure communication over wireless network is provided by utilizing duty-shared authenticated group key transport to enable symmetric- based authenticated group communication over wireless network. The system (100) includes an Initiator (102) configured to execute a Secure Group Manager module (108) in announcing group sessions, authenticating and distributing authenticated session tokens. A Participant (104) is in communication with the Initiator (102) and the Participant (104) is configured to execute a Secure Group Handler module (112) in authenticating, receiving a group session key and joining said group. A Trusted Authority (106) is in communication with the Initiator (102) and Participant (104). The Trusted Authority (106) is configured to execute a Secure Group Administrator module (110) in mediating and providing authenticated session tokens. The Initiator host does not require any specific configuration and can be any of the participants. The Secure Group Manager module generates the group key while the Secure Group Administrator module monitors the session which provides for separation of duty (initiator-assisted). Encryption of the nonce and group session key is provided by utilizing authenticated encryption with freshness of dynamic credential assignment (session IDs).
Abstract:
The present invention provides an Ad-hoc screen sharing system and method for performing ad-hoc screen sharing and switching sessions over a wired or wireless Ad- hoc networks without a dedicated centralized server. The Ad-hoc Screen Sharing system and method allows the host of the sessions to invite participants to join in the session, share materials to be used during the sessions, presenting the information through the shared screens, and allowing the participants to interact by sharing their own screen.
