Abstract:
A soap kit that includes a plurality of soap pieces for assembly. Each soap piece is configured to engage with a geometrically conforming portion of at least another complementary soap piece, such that the soap pieces can be collectively arranged to form a unified integrated soap unit. The soap pieces may be engaged with one another while in a wet state to facilitate their adhesion. The soap pieces may then be transitioned from a wet state to a dry state to reinforce the adhesion and facilitate solidification of the soap unit. The integrated soap unit may depict a representation of an image or constitute a representation of an object.

Abstract:
A method to propagate, enumerate and quantify bacteriophage(s) in a water sample or other aqueous sample was designed which contains ingredients to stimulate the growth of select bacterial species which are susceptible to infection by specific bacteriophage(s), in which interfering background organisms are either inhibited or inconsequential. Important features of the medium include oxidation-reduction compounds producing colored and/or fluorescent products, chromogenic and/or fluorogenic enzyme substrates, and temperature- independent gelling agent(s). A preferred combination is the growth medium containing 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride, 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-B-D-galactoside, and appropriate gelling agents, which (when properly used) produces a dark red bacterial lawn containing teal blue-green, irregularly circular spots representing individual phage plaque, all discernible to the eye in visible light. The procedure can also be readily applied towards automatic counting systems under artificial illumination. The procedure can be employed with water samples and with elution buffers that can retain bacteriophages in suspension following contact by the buffer with foods, soils, hard surfaces and other solids that may be contaminated by bacteriophages.
Abstract:
A building construction assembly composed of factory-manufactured thermoplastic structural modules which when interconnected at a building site then create the entire shell of an edifice having side walls and a roof. Each module which is formed of a pair of parallel panels bridged by transverse webs is provided on either side along its length with a pair of flexible catch flanges projecting from the panels. When assembling these modules to create the shell of the edifice, adjacent modules are interconnected in coplanar relation by a double-faced joiner on each face of which is a pair of teeth. When one face of the joiner is pressed against a side of a module, its catch flanges then flex to snap into and behind the teeth to connect the joiner to this module. The other face of the joiner is similarly connected to the side of an adjacent module whereby the modules are then interconnected in coplanar relation. When it becomes necessary to interconnect four modules in a cross formation, use is then made of a square, quad-faced joiner on each face of which are a pair of teeth which are engageable by the catch flanges projecting from the side of the module to be joined to this face.
