    Abstract: A fan shroud and receptacle arrangement for use adjacent a vehicle radiator (12) and around one or more engine cooling fans (14). The arrangement includes a shaped hollow body (18) of a predetermined depth and having a front face (24), a rear face (26), a top wall (28), a bottom wall (30), oppositely disposed side walls (32 and 34), at least one opening (20) formed through the body (18) with a cylindrical wall (22 or 23) therearound. Oppositely disposed recesses (50 and 52) are formed in the front and rear faces (24 and 26) to form a wall (54) for dividing the hollow body (18) into two or more internal chambers (44 and 46). Filler necks (40 and 42) and/or other openings are formed in the top wall (28) for communicating with the two or more internal chambers (44 and 46).

    Abstract: A system of inflatable air cells is constructed and installed in a seat at locations that are strategic to the comfort of the user. The air cells are connected to a pump (134) trough a manifold (130) which sequentially connects each cell independently to the pump (134). The manifold (130) controls the flow of fluid in the air cell distribution system by means of a system of valves (130a-130h), and senses the pressure in each cell by means of a transducer (139). A microcomputer (128) is programmed with data representing a desired comfort level for each of the air cells. By sequentially activating individual manifold valves (130a-130h), a pressure signal from the transducer (139) can be generated for each cell. The pressure signals are received by the microcomputer (128) and are correlated with the predetermined comfort data to generate a control signal which activates the pump (134).

    Abstract: There is disclosed herein a molded plastic front bumper beam (10) for a vehicle. The bumper beam includes upper (16) and lower (18) separate hollow compartments for carrying selected fluids. The upper and lower compartments are interconnected by an integral front wall segment (52). Dual openings (20, 22, 24, 26) are formed in the rear portion of each compartment which are adapted to accommodate receiving and dispensing fluids, such as radiator coolant, windshield washer fluid, rear window washer fluid, and/or head lamp washer fluid.
