Abstract: A dual-jacket assembly comprising an inner jacket (100) coupled to an outer jacket (510) by a cable ( 412, 414) system is provided herein. The outer jacket (510) is configured at least to be worn over the inner jacket (100) and to be stowed in a pocket (522) of the inner jacket (100) when not in use. The cable (412, 414) system comprises a plurality of cables (412, 414), each coupled to the inner jacket (100) at one end (2014) and coupled to the outer jacket (510) at the other end (2014). The plurality of cables (412, 414) is configured to position the outer jacket (510) for easier donning and to be used by a wearer to stow the outer jacket (510) in the pocket (522) of the inner jacket (100) when not in use.
