Abstract: A wearable article for soap bubble generation is provided as a liquid-resistant wearable article having a portion shaped to receive a body part. A web is provided integrally with the article having at least one hole adapted to form soap bubbles when the web is dipped in bubble solution and air is moved through the at least one hole. Preferably, the article has at least two films of liquid-resistant material sealed at a common edge and a pocket between the films. The pocket is shaped to receive a body part such as a hand (e.g., the article is glove/mitten-shaped). The films of the article substantially prevent the body part inside the pocket from touching the bubble solution when the web is dipped in the bubble solution while the article is being worn. Different sizes of holes may be provided in the web to generate different sizes of bubbles.

Abstract: An active play toy shaped substantially like a baseball bat has a proximal handle section grippable by a user and a distal launching section rotatably attached to the handle section and rotatably movable with respect to the handle section from a first angled striking configuration to a second substantially straight configuration by swinging the toy. The angle between the handle section and the launching section in the striking configuration is substantially between 90° and 120° and preferably about 105°. One or more detent mechanisms keep the toy in at least one of the first or second configurations until moved by the user. One such detent mechanism keeps the toy in the first angled striking configuration until the toy is swung like a bat by the user. A scalloped ball holding region may be formed in a distal portion of the launching section for holding and/or catching a ball.

Abstract: A device for manually generating bubbles. A main body has securements each adapted to receive at least one finger of a user. A ribbon or similar structure is attached to the finger grip main body and is configurable between a smaller first configuration insertable into a bubble solution container and a larger second configuration defining a bubble-generating space waveable by the user to generate bubbles. The securements may include at least one receptacle formed from two layers of material sealed on at least one common edge, thereby forming a pocket therebetween. The at least one receptacle preferably at least partially shields the user from the bubble solution when the device is dipped in the bubble solution and allows the user to hold and control the device. The securements may include at least one aperture formed in the finger grip main body adapted to receive at least one finger therethrough.

Abstract: A disc projectile throwing toy includes a disc placeable in and throwable from the toy, a handle section, and a launching section hingedly attached to and whippably rotatable with respect to the handle section. The distal end of the launching section includes a disc holder adapted to releasably hold the disc. The disc holder has a proximal disc gripper and a distal disc gripper each gripping the disc independently of the other. When the disc is inserted into the disc holder and the launching section is whipped with respect to the handle section, the disc holder releases the disc. The distal disc gripper has a greater gripping force on the disc than the proximal disc gripper, causing the disc to leave the proximal gripper first and then the distal gripper when thrown. This sequential release of the disc imparts rotational motion to the disc.

Abstract: A long-distance projectile throwing toy. A launching section is hingedly attached at one end to a handle section. The distal end of the launching section includes a ball holder for releasably securing a ball/projectile loosely enough to allow the ball to come flying out of the ball holder when the device is whipped by the user. The device is configurable into at least two configurations by selectively moving an angular delimiter on one section into or out of engageability with various ramped portions of the other section. A throwing configuration keeps the launching section at a minimum angle to maximize the force imparted to the projectile and thus its distance and speed. A collapsed configuration enables the launching section to be substantially parallel with the handle section thereby enabling the device to be stored or shipped more easily. The ball holder imparts backspin to the projectile to maximize flight.
