Abstract:
A filter element of a disc filter apparatus, an arrangement, a sleeve, and a disc filter apparatus. The filter element comprises a filter member comprising a filter surface, and an aperture for placing an internal cavity of the filter element in a fluid communication with a drainage line of the disc filter apparatus. The aperture is arranged to extend inwards from an orifice arranged on an outer surface of the filter element and to end inside the filter element. The aperture is in fluid contact with said internal cavity of the filter element, the aperture being arranged to receive detachably a sleeve connected to said drainage line of the disc filter apparatus so that a sealing arrangement is arranged between the aperture and the sleeve and at a distance from said orifice.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a ceramic filter element (22) for removal of liquid from solids containing material in a capillary suction dryer. The filter element comprises a ceramic substrate covered by a sintered ceramic microporous layer (31). The sintered microporous membrane layer is provided with coarse solid particles (71) of a particle size larger than a pore size of the membrane material layer(31) so as to form a textured surface (50) which prevents a filter cake from sliding off the surface of the filter element prior to the intended cake dis- charge.
Abstract:
A filter element (1) for a filter apparatus (2) comprises at least one filter member (3)and a frame member (4) arranged to support the at least one filter member (3) in such a manner that the internal cavity (12) is formed. The filter member (3) comprises a permeable membrane layer and has a first filter surface (9a) for receiving a pressure and directed towards an internal cavity (12) arranged inside the filter element (1), and a second filter surface (9b) for receiving solid particles filtered from a feed. The filter member (3) forms a capillary filter.
Abstract:
A filter element of a disc filter apparatus, a disc filter apparatus, and a method. The filter element comprises filter members on both sides of the element, and the filter member comprises a microporous permeable membrane layer. The filter member is formed to cause a capillary phenomenon in a filtering process. The filter element has outer edge surface comprising said microporous material, and a porous substrate arranged between the filter members. The filter element further comprises an elastic layer arranged on a peripheral outer edge surface of the filter element and covering the microporous material on said peripheral outer edge surface.
Abstract:
A connector (19) for a filter plate comprises an elbow fitting (20) connectable onto a first plane surface of a filter plate, a counterpart connectable onto a second plane surface of the filter plate, and a bolt (22) for fastening the elbow fitting (20) to the counterpart (21). The elbow fitting (20) comprises an inlet (24) connectable to an internal cavity of the filter plate and an outlet (25) connectable to a drainage line of a disc filter so that the elbow fitting (20) is able to act as a fluid communication channel between the internal cavity and the drainage line.
