Abstract:
Dung removing machine for the removal of the dung from underneath the pens of the fur animals at fur farms. The dung removing machine comprises a dung-collector-conveyor part (1) placed transversely to the running direction and operating at the level of the base to be cleaned, the said collector-conveyor being fitted so as to feed the dung collected from the base to the transfer conveyor (2). By means of the transfer conveyor (2), the dung can be guided onto a dung collector wagon (3) constituting a part of the dung removing machine. Both the collector-conveyor part (1) and the transfer conveyor (2) are fitted as one entire unit so as to be shifted in the horizontal direction perpendicularly to the direction of running of the dung removing machine. The collector-conveyor part (1) consists of a screw conveyor (5) whose rear part, viewed in the direction of running, is protected by a plowing wing (4), the end portion of the said screw conveyor, viewed in the direction of feeding, being surrounded by a feeder pipe (6) passing to the transfer conveyor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for removing bark when handling a trunk (A) in a timber harvester, especially in connection with lopping. To remove the bark, the axis of rotation of means (1) for feeding the trunk (A) is positioned at an angle with the longitudinal axis of the trunk in such a way that the trunk is brought into rotation about the longitudinal axis during the feed movement. The arrangement further comprises means (3) for removing bark during the simultaneous rotation movement (R) and feed movement.
