Abstract:
A range of foldable casings of different dimensions to fulfil different functions that can be used as portable cradles (useful with function as insect protection casing as well such as against the Anopheles mosquito), kennels and emergency pet crates,capsule-like medical stretchers to rescue injured people in hostile situations and extreme environments, camping tents, kayaks and different types of small watercrafts as well as parachutable multipurpose tents. These casings in unfolding phase open with great ease and are made by a fabric casing or similar materials, closed as a shell and firmly connected to a frame consisting of flexible ring-shaped and arch-shaped rods. In these casings, ones opened e unfolded, all their elements can be strongly tensioned by the opposite action of fabrics, rods and internal traction elements. These casings, ones tensioned and made rigid, are then capable to support the full weight of a body on a horizontal surface located inside said casings, lifting the body's weight off the ground and distributing said weight among all other elements of these casings that, designed such way, are thus extremely lightweight and resistant.
Abstract:
A supporting apparatus, for example a portable seat that can be opened and closed again. The present invention concerns a group of portable supporting apparatuses of extendible kind and that can be opened and closed again, the said apparatuses are composed of: -- At least a junction (5); -- A plurality of poles hinged to the said junctions; -- A part of the said poles which, when the said apparatus is on using extended modality, branches off from the lower junction (45), in order to form legs and another part branches off upwards (46), so as to form an anchorage whereon a foldable surface is stretched (13) that in using modality forms a supporting surface; -- Further means of traction (24) cooperating with the folding surface, which, according to the invention, join one another all the ends of the poles that do not converge to the junctions. And which, thanks to a configuration preset by the orientation of the same poles, take together with them the structural configuration of anti-prism or other extremely stable and rigid configurations such as they can release the said apparatuses, spread when in use, of the most torsional and bending stresses.
